The campaign for My Dior, the new fine jewelry line from the house of Dior, features Brazilian beauty Raquel Zimmerman. Photographed by Steven Meisel, the campaign showcases Raquel's classic style in natural makeup and sporting bold red lips as well as everything else in-between. The campaign also highlights the timelessness of the new jewelry line.
Designed by Dior jewelry designer Victoire de Castellane, the collection includes cuffs and rings. Some are simple gold, some hold diamonds, and others precious stones. For each version of the interwoven designs, Raquel's makeup style changes, going from classic red lips to natural nude to smoky daytime eyes. The new collection is elegant and timeless, delicate, yet bold.
The interwoven basket weave is very intricate and achieved using an age-old wax casting in the jewelry making process, indicating that each piece is made with stellar craftsmanship. Yet each design has a recognized shape, making the pieces come alive with new energy. My Dior is one of the newest offerings from house of Dior and the collection is said to coincide with Victoire de Castellane’s tenth anniversary with the company.
The elegant collection and stunning campaign indicates that whether a woman dresses up or down, My Dior is the perfect way to accessorize. According to the company, "The collection is called My Dior, to signify a Dior all one’s own, the intimate relationship one shares with a personal jewel."
