Hublot & Ferrari's The Big Bang Ferrari Watch Makes Public Debut in Japan

The collaborative efforts of Hublot and Ferrari made its public debut this month at in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The Big Bang Ferrari wristwatch was formally introduced at the Ferrari Racing Days Suzuka 2012 at the Suzuka International Racing Course.


The new, dual-luxury brand collectible wristwatch was showcased at a media-only gathering earlier this month in Switzerland at Baselworld 2012. The ever-effervescent Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of Hublot, flew to Japan to attend a press conference for the debut. 

The Ferrari Racing Days Suzuka 2012 is one of the firm’s largest sponsored events. The special automotive-related gathering appeals to both owners and enthusiasts of the venerable Italian supercar manufacturer.

There are various attractions that occur during the three-day affair, such as the first round of the Formula One Asia-Pacific Series Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli and the Concorso d’Eleganza. The latter was supported by Hublot and showcased 18 classic automobiles of the 1950s and 1960s. Hundreds of Ferraris were on display throughout the event. 


The Big Bang Ferrari is available in a gold and a titanium model. The self-winding, chronograph wristwatch measures 45 millimeters across and comes with a black leather, gummy strap with black rubber décor. For more information on both Hublot and Ferrari, visit Hublot.com and Ferrari.com
