Chopard, the Swiss-based luxury watch, jewelry, and accessories brand, was founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard when he was only 24. Today, the brand is celebrating the 20th anniversary of one of its most coveted timepieces with a new model and customization options. The Happy Sport collection, as the name implies, is designed to be elegant, sporty and playful. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first model in the collection, Chopard is releasing a women's version of the model, called the Happy Sport Medium Automatic. The new model will be available in eight different variations priced from $8,100 to $41,240. An open sapphire crystal back is exquisitely feminine and allows the wearer to see the watch's self-winding movement.
Recently unveiled at Swiss watch expo Baselworld, the Happy Sport Medium Automatic has a 36-mm. case available in either stainless steel or 18-karat rose gold. The timepiece includes a silver-tone dial, seven moving diamonds, and an alligator strap. At the Chopard microsite, customers can personalize their own Happy Sport watch online, choosing the material, gems, strap, diamond charms and even engravements to add to their timepiece. Once a design is submitted, customers are invited to contact the Chopard Boutique of their choice to receive an estimate and schedule an appointment. Once ordered, their customized watch will be delivered within 3 weeks
