The biggest jewelry and watch expo in America, JCK, took place in Las Vegas last week, and showcased a memorable selection of jewelry, watches and accessories. Before opening day, JCK kicked-off the event with a three-day, invitation-only Luxury Preview where exhibitors, buyers and press were given an advance look at the priciest pieces to be on display over the course of the week. During the main event, companies from around the world took to Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino to unveil new jewelry collections, hold hands-on workshops, and conduct talks and discussions on the jewelry industry.

"There is so much to see and take advantage of at JCK Las Vegas 2015," said Yancy Weinrich, Senior Vice President of Reed Exhibitions, leader of the JCK portfolio. "We are thrilled to have over 2,300 brands exhibiting—many returning faces and some new, such as Alex and Ani, Roseark, an impressive increased presence from Forevermark and a new Tech neighborhood which has been quite an attraction."

During the event, JCK held the inaugural Design Center Editor's Choice Awards, where they announced the Top 50 Designer Retailers “who support this area of the market—the unique, the innovative, the exceptionally well crafted—like no other." The winner of the 2015 Top 50 Designer Retailer Award was Gallery of Jewels from San Francisco, CA.  A Design Center Editor's Choice Award was also handed out to newcomer Marcia Budet for her brand’s use of originality, imagination and craftsmanship.

This is also the place to go if you’re looking for upcoming trends, unique pieces or the very latest collections. And there are a couple first-time participants we’re going to be keeping our eye on. Arya Esha, a label that uses ethically sourced gemstones and conflict-free diamonds, has a gorgeous collection of colored stones and fashion jewelry, plus she has a celeb following that includes Jordana Brewster and Claire Danes. Petra Class Jewelry is a San Francisco-based label that designs jewelry in almost every color of the rainbow. Creating clunky, modern pieces, their collections are bold-eye catchers that are perfect for your Instagram feed.
