After leaving his position as creative director of Balenciaga earlier this year, Alexander Wang is turning all of his attention to his eponymous label. In an effort to grow his brand, Wang will expand into the jewelry market this month with a new line of necklaces, bracelets and earrings. We first caught of the glimpse of the upcoming line in his Spring 2016 show this fall when models wore a series of palladium chain and lock pieces plated in brass and 24-karat gold.

The designer has worked on jewelry collections for his brand in the past, including collaborations with Gaia Repossi and Betony Vernon, but he noted that he was never able to be very hands-on with the creative process. “I always wanted to do jewelry, but I never felt like I had the opportunity. I’ve had my hands quite full,” Wang told WWD. “But I really got exposed to it when I went to Balenciaga and I really enjoyed the process.” His designs at the French label included oversized pearls, large chains and knotted bangles and rings. His new collection is almost reminiscent of these designs, but with a much edgier, industrial feel—they’re very distinctly Alexander Wang.

The collection will be released later this month and will only available at Alexander Wang before expanding to Net-A-Porter, Mytheresa and Joyce HK in March. Priced from $295-$525.
