The Beverly Hills estate owned by the late men’s fashion designer Bijan has been sold for around $12 million by Ms. Jade Mills, broker and estates director of Coldwell Banker of Beverly Hills. The walled and gated Italianate villa, which was designed and decorated by the fashion mogul himself, contains more than 12,000 square feet of living space and features seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Hopefully the new owner is a fan of the designer's work because there is a unique chandelier in the formal dining room that is made from Bijan's signature perfume bottles. The home's spacious floor plan consists of high ceilings and vibrant colors, while the ornate landscaping outside resembles the setting of a luxury resort more than a single-family residence.
According to Coldwell Banker, Jade Mills was the top grossing agent in 2002 for her region and ranks in the top one percent in the nation. The highly regarded real estate professional has achieved home sales of more than $1 billion in her illustrious career. Ms. Mills has sold prominent properties in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and internationally as well. She also has been a regular contributor to Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Ellen, and the NBC Nightly News for years. Her clients range from A-list Hollywood stars to Grammy-winning musicians to leaders of industry and royalty.
