Complicated design doesn't always mean better, and the Slatewood Lamp Collection proves it. Offered by NoEnd Designs, the two wooden lamps make us think of relaxing summer nights at a beach house and while the company certainly put a lot into the process, they look perfectly effortless.

The handcrafted Slatewood Lamp is currently available via the company's Kickstarter campaign, which (as of publication) is funded nearly double their goal of $5,000. With 14 days left, there is still plenty of time to get yourself one of each. The Slatewood Arc is made using soft woods, which allows light to seep through the wood, giving it a soft glowing effect. The Razor is much sleeker in appearance, with hardwoods maintaining the light and directing it between the slats.
