Your house may be cool, but can it roll? Probably not. Unless you plan on living in a Rolling Home from DO Architects, that is. The single family homes are designed to be grouped together and so far aren't a reality yet, but they're planned to be positioned by a lagoon right next to the Baltic Sea in Svencelė, Lithuania.
"These dynamic and playful houses reflect the relaxed atmosphere of their seaside location as well as the progressive and dynamic people who will choose to call them home," asserts the architecture team. The layout seems pretty clever, with three different floors within the hamster wheel-like home and two transparent façades that give uninterrupted views of the surrounding mountains and canals. We don't think we'd want to live in one full-time, but a Rolling Home would be a pretty rad vacation house, even if it doesn't actually roll.
