From January 30 to February 2, four top-drawer teams will compete in the 30th Polo World Cup On Snow in the ritzy Swiss resort town of St. Moritz. The world's first, most prominent and only high-goal winter polo tournament will celebrate three decades of competition with top players from around the globe forming teams for the likes of Cartier, Deutsche Bank, Ralph Lauren and BMW. The teams will be competing for the coveted Cartier Trophy, one of the most prestigious prizes in any equestrian event on the planet. Perhaps the most famous player on the snowy field will be Nacho Figueras, who will be playing for team Ralph Lauren, the fashion giant whom he models for.

In addition to the team and trophy sponsors, this year’s backers include the Kempinski Grand Hotel des Bains in St. Moritz, the Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, Gulfstream, and Veuve Clicquot, which will present a trophy in one of the semi-final events. And to celebrate the 30th anniversary, three of Switzerland’s finest chefs will collaborate on an incredible seven star gala dinner: Nenad Mlinarevic, head chef at Gourmetrestaurant focus at Park Hotel Vitznau, with two Michelin stars; Tanja Grandits, chef de cuisine at Restaurant Stucki in Basel, with two Michelin stars; and Andreas Caminada, chef de cuisine at Schloss Schauenstein in Fürstenau, with three Michelin stars.
