Hackett London, bastion of bespoke British men’s style, has teamed up with Cooper Bikes of Mini Cooper fame on an exclusive new collection of bicycles and stylish biking gear. The pair of bikes and accompanying accessories are designed to “epitomize a British approach to biking,” and are served up with Hackett’s signature savoir faire. Cooper, founded in a small garage in 1946 went on to make Formula 1 history in the 1950s and ‘60s. Cooper Bikes, its modern successor, builds machines on the same principles of British engineering with plenty of retro appeal. For the new collaboration they’ve designed a Chrome Single Speed (about $2,100) and a Green Tourer model (about $3,200). The Chrome Single Speed bicycle comes with a shining chrome-plated frame with red, white and blue detailing evoking the Mini Cooper, introduced in 1961 — which won the world famous Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965 and 1967.

The top tube of the steel frame features a Hackett logo, while a mustard colored Brooks leather saddle completes the look. The Green Tourer comes in British racing green with white detailing, and has 22 speeds with a honey colored Brooks leather saddle. It has a chrome rear luggage rack and mudguards with the signature Hackett GB badge. To accompany the machines, Hackett has designed a collection of retro inspired shirts, polos, jackets, pants and jeans, suitable for gentlemanly cycling adventures, using waterproof and breathable fabrics. And accompanying accessories include a backpack and a saddle bag for the back of the Green Tourer.
