“The One in Vegas” Turns MGM Grand Into Central Perk

For anyone who spent time trying to find their own Central Perk, the newly opened FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Vegas delivers a hit of heartfelt nostalgia, with a side of Vegas spectacle. Now open at the MGM Grand, this West Coast flagship offers fans an immersive walk-through of the legendary sitcom’s most iconic sets, scenes, and props, plus some Sin City exclusives you won’t find in the New York version.

The One with the Strip-Worthy Upgrade

Sure, FRIENDS was famously set in Manhattan, but as co-creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane point out, Las Vegas holds a special place in the show’s history. It’s where the cast bonded early on, and where Ross and Rachel’s famously foggy wedding episode unfolded. Appropriately, The One in Vegas pays homage with a fully realized wedding chapel set. Whether you're posing for laughs or popping the question, the altar is yours, no permanent marker mustaches required.

Set, Scene, Action

The experience takes you through meticulously re-created sets that fans will recognize instantly: Monica and Rachel’s color-coded apartment, Joey and Chandler’s recliner kingdom, and of course, Central Perk, complete with the orange couch and a solid photo op. There’s even the infamous “PIVOT!” stairwell, ideal for anyone who’s ever moved furniture with stubborn friends and too-small corners.

Vegas-Only Moments & Legendary Props

Las Vegas adds some exclusive sparkle to the experience. In addition to the wedding chapel, fans will spot Joey’s gladiator outfit from the Vegas episodes, Phoebe’s yellow cab, Rachel’s notorious 18-page letter (front and back), and the turkey head—yes, that turkey head. There’s also the lesser-celebrated but equally delightful poking device once used to check on Ugly Naked Guy. (This is a deep cut, and the superfans will know.)

From Soundstage to Showroom

Created by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, Original X Productions, and Warner Bros. Television Group, The FRIENDS™ Experience is more than a tribute. It’s a time capsule dressed up in Vegas lights. The attraction has already earned spots on USA Today’s Readers’ Choice list and CNN’s Best Immersive Experiences roundup, and this new location only deepens the appeal.

Shop the Show

No experience is complete without a souvenir, or five. The on-site retail space is open to both ticketed and non-ticketed guests and carries exclusive Las Vegas-themed merch, from Central Perk mugs to collectible tees.

Getting There

Located within The District at MGM Grand, just steps from the Grand Garden Arena, The FRIENDS™ Experience: The One in Vegas is now open to the public. Tickets start at $39 and are available at friendstheexperience.com/Vegas.

Whether you’re reenacting “PIVOT!” or finally finding your spot on the orange couch, this experience offers more than just fan service. It’s a joyful throwback to a show that, even decades later, still gets us to laugh, quote, and reminisce.
