The above video shows off the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible as it speeds down a desert road for its inaugural drive. The fully electric top is—according to the marque—the most innovative of its kind, raising and lowering with the press of an overhead button (or by using the key fob) while driving up to speeds of 30mph. The interior features a flat-bottom steering wheel, knee pads, high-performance seats, and instinctive shifter placement. But that’s not all it offers, the drop-top range includes a 275hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a 335hp 3.6-liter V6, and a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 with 455hp. Each engine configuration also comes with the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
