The Italian shipyard Perini Navi is known for many things—like their line of gorgeous sailing yachts—and now their sloop rigged Perseus^3 apparently has the world’s largest single sail and the third tallest carbon mast. According to Yachting World, the vessel—which launched in April and is the second offering in the 60m series—boasts a spinnaker single sail that is “bigger than all the giant Maltese Falcon’s 15 sails combined” at 28,010ft2. If that still doesn’t put it into scale for you, the above video certainly does, with long panning shots of the sail from top to bottom. If you suffer from vertigo, maybe don't watch this one in full-screen.
