Resembling a private residence built in the classic Renaissance style, The Peninsula Beverly Hills has been an exclusive home-away-from-home for international VIPs for nearly 35 years. Nestled in the heart of Beverly Hills, just blocks from Rodeo Drive, the deluxe property is now prepared for a fresh restart with newly redesigned guest rooms and expansive rooftop.
“As we look ahead to celebrating the hotel’s 35th anniversary of providing exceptional hospitality in 2026, this refurbishment involves more than introducing modern updates,” said Managing Director Offer Nissenbaum. “It’s a continuation of a legacy and an embodiment of the care and artistry that have defined The Peninsula Beverly Hills since its inception.”

The hotel partnered with leading global interior design firm Hirsch Bedner Associates to refresh the property’s French-inspired aesthetic. Decorative accent pieces such as porcelain vases, gold-framed mirrors, and soft metallic sconces were added to underscore the property’s charm and feminine character.
All 195 guest rooms received a modern upgrade. To enhance the overall space, The Peninsula Beverly Hills adjusted every room’s layout to maximize natural light and improve flow. The new color palette of soft pinks, powder blues, and muted greens give every room a tranquil, residential feel.

The Peninsula considered beauty and function when refreshing each room’s furnishings with new desks, marble quartz surfaces, Bergère-style lounge chairs, and French-inspired upholstery. The refurbishment artfully blends heritage and contemporary hospitality with a variety of thoughtful details.
Some of the hotel’s original interiors — from Rose Aurora marble vanities to artwork by longtime collaborator Hampton Hall — were retained to honor the property’s early years. Additionally, the hotel’s intricate drapery was reproduced by the original manufacturers to maintain the legacy patterns.

Elevated Rooftop Lounging
The hotel’s beloved rooftop was enhanced with similar care, introducing larger luxury cabanas and additional lounge chairs to provide guests with the ultimate Beverly Hills poolside experience. Accented with the hotel’s signature yellow and white stripes, each of the 10 cabanas is outfitted with modern comforts and amenities such as a 50” high-definition television, a Bluetooth sound system, and personalized all-day alfresco dining service.
Tucked within verdant tropical gardens, the luxury hotel imparts the feeling of being worlds away. The overall refresh presents a renewed guest experience that feels graceful, timeless, and unmistakably Peninsula.
