Boutique HOTEL 32: Las Vegas Luxury

Accommodations Atop the Monte Carlo

Hotel Review: As of late many boutique hotels have been opened in Las Vegas, many as separate towers or extensions of existing hotels on the Strip. Mandalay Bay has THEhotel, MGM offers Skylofts and just recently Monte Carlo opened HOTEL 32

One of the first things that I noticed upon approaching the Monte Carlo is its proximity to the new City Center, as well as its general location on the Strip. Location is very important to me when I stay in Sin City. Las Vegas Blvd is much larger than you may realize and traffic or crowds can add to transportation times. Being located center Strip makes getting around that much more convenient. Prefer to stretch your legs? The brand-new City Center is just a few steps and a quick tram ride away from HOTEL 32, where you can shop the couture boutiques of Crystals, or discover the art galleries.

HOTEL 32 lies on the top floor of the Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino; guests at this boutique hotel-within-a-hotel have private access to the 32nd floor that has been completely revamped to reflect an elevated luxury. Reservations include a limousine pick-up from the airport and guests check in from the privacy of their room with the help of a suite assistant who is there to help with absolutely anything you might need.

Accommodations come with a an impresive list of amenities including access to LOUNGE 32, a section of the hotel situated centrally among the guests’ suites, offering a spectacular view of Las Vegas and comfortable seating in which to enjoy it. LOUNGE 32 offers complimentary refreshments and snacks throughout the day. During the morning hours, LOUNGE 32 offers fresh fruit as well as a selection of appetizing breakfast fare; afternoon Happy Hour guests are treated to light refreshments and delicious appetizers as well as wine for purchase to accompany the gourmet treats.

After checking in to HOTEL 32 our suite assistant took the time to give us a quick tour of the room, a Loft. While certainly a nice touch of customer care, the tour is quite necessary as HOTEL 32 suites boast very advanced – and very cool – technology. A Creston remote complete with large touch screen controls three sets of drapes, four televisions (two in the parlor, one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom) and lighting throughout the loft. Moving along to the bathroom, here the technology is even more apparent…and luxurious. An extra-deep overflow tub offers whirlpool enhancements and LED lights that produce an array of colors to suit your mood, a feature called “chromotherapy.” But the star of the show is really the shower. Once again about double the size of a standard unit, the shower is outfitted with electronic controls that offer a range of temperature, water and chromotherapy settings. An enormous rain shower above and a vertical row of adjustable panels spray you from head to toe simultaneously. The digital display allows you to select the exact temperature you desire, and the chromotherapy options even include settings like “thunderstorm” or “morning”. Every one of these features comes together to create an ultra-luxurious environment in which to reside during your stay. If there weren’t so many exciting choices of entertainment outside your door, you would have no reason to leave.

Everyone comes to Las Vegas to be entertained in some way shape or form. Whether it’s a relaxing day at the spa, a pool party, time at the tables or attending a show, there is just so much to do. Having a fabulous hotel room rounds out the experience perfectly. All day and all night you can hop from activity to activity and when it’s time to return to your room, it’s just as exciting. If you are one to share the experience and entertain in your room, the bar area of the suite offers a wealth of fine spirits, mixers and a state-of-the-art coffee machine that is just about as advanced as the one behind the counter at your favorite coffee shop. The parlor in the Loft features a dining table and wrap around couch situated in front of a huge TV mounted on a leather-covered wall; some suites also boast pool tables. Open the curtains to show the fabulous views, tune the TVs to anyone of the hundreds of channels on DirectTV or turn up the music. Pour the drinks, order a spread from room service, and relax or party in the comfort of your room. Besides, you can’t keep all the fun for yourself.

All in all, I had a wonderful time at HOTEL 32 and would recommend it hands-down. The Loft was a haven of luxurious amenities and chic décor; the service of the staff was excellent. I think the experience can be summed up best by another guest I happened to have shared an elevator ride with. After politely waiting for patrons staying on other floors to exit, she turned to me and said, “Don’t you just LOVE HOTEL 32?” Of course my answer was yes.
