The Musée d'Orsay sits just across the Seine from the Tuileries Gardens in a former railway station. Its collection of artwork ranges from paintings and sculptures, to decorative arts, architecture and photography. Among its offerings, visitors can view masterpieces by Rodin, Carpeaux, Cézanne, Monet, Renoir, Van Gogh and Courbet. With five floors of galleries, it is renowned for its expertise in the history of art in the second half of the 19th century.
