Running January 15-18, the 2016 Napa Truffle Festival will be here sooner than you know it. The lineup stars a group of Master Chefs who will be demonstrating special cooking techniques while whipping you up countless tasty meals. Plus, you will get to go truffle hunting with dogs. Enough said.
Hosting again is La Toque Executive Chef and Owner, Ken Frank, who will be joined by David Barzelay (Executive Chef and Owner of Lazy Bear), Stefano Ciotti (Executive Chef and Owner of Nestrano) and Rick Tramonto (Executive Chef and Owner of Restaurant R'evolution). Though the 2016 schedule has yet to be released, guests can probably expect the return of the all-inclusive Grand Truffle Weekend Package. This is really the only option for anyone wanting the full truffle season experience since every program included (yes, even the wild mushroom forage with pups).
Though the tickets for 2016 aren’t yet available, they will be within the month. Last year’s tickets ranged from $60 for the mushroom forage to $1,250 for the Grand Package.
