Inspired by Menlo Park’s local architectural tradition and creating transparency between the indoors and outdoors, each guestroom or suite offers private balconies or terraces with views of landscaped courtyard gardens, the swimming pool or the Santa Cruz Mountains. With floor-to-ceiling glass in every room, the 2,372 sq. ft. Two-Bedroom Presidential Villas are the resort’s largest accommodations and accompany sweeping views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and contemporary residential-style luxury. Including a grand room with fireplace, powder room, a pantry and private terraces and lawns, the villas sleep a maximum of five guests and have two full baths. Other highlights include a sunken tub and rain shower, original local art pieces, a gas-log fireplace and the private and spacious rear terrace offers views of the Santa Cruz Mountains for a lovely escape.

“Our accommodations highlight the very best of Northern California architecture and refined relaxation,” said Rosewood Sand Hill’s managing director Philip Meyer. “We want our guests to enjoy the exclusivity of the resort and its wide-ranging amenities while being able to appreciate the natural beauty of Menlo Park.”

Offering a menu of refined dishes honoring the culinary traditions of the Bay Area, Madera achieved its one-star Michelin rating first in 2011. With a majority of its menu items being created on their wood-burning grill, a menu highlight includes the Root Down Farms ‘Freedom Ranger’ Roasted Chicken, paired with Nantes Carrots, Pomme Purée and a Chilled Pea Salad.  Along with the Michelin-starred Madera, Rosewood Sand Hill's Menlo Park other food and beverage options include The Bar & Library which invites all for light bites and seasonal cocktails overlooking the pool and new Poolside Dining by Chef Ravi Kapur of Liholiho Yacht Club.

Upon entrance through its front doors, the warm environment and calm surroundings envelop guests and invite guests to heal the mind and body. From their selection of massages, manicures and pedicures as well as facials, guests will experience unparalleled attention to detail and impeccable service at this urban oasis.

“We can’t be more thrilled to welcome guests back to experience all our resort has to offer,” said Philip Meyer. “Along with our offerings, we are thrilled to announce our new Summer by Design experiences which were carefully curated to immerse travelers in Menlo Park’s wider culture and community.”
