Only 30-minute drive from San Francisco and Silicon Valley, the property feels a world apart. Besides its natural surroundings, the resort offers over 35 daily mind-body activities along with wellness presentations and workshops. Through these experiences, guests can discover new insights about themselves and engage in activities that build energy and stamina. The property also features an indoor saline pool and whirlpool, boutique spa with five treatment rooms, state-of-the-art fitness facility and delicious cuisine served at the Hideaway and The Hearth.

Featuring fresh, local produce and seasonal specialties enhanced by culinary passion and nutritional wisdom, each dinner dish served averages only 200 calories. At The Hearth, the hotel’s cozy dining room with indoor and outside seating, Executive Chef George Meza has partnered with local farms and ranches to create dishes that are healthy, balanced and accommodating to all dietary needs. “We understand how important it is for healthful nutrition to be flavorful and indulgent,” said George. “We welcome guests to sit inside or outside together to enjoy the delights of our menu in the warmth of fellowship.” Their smaller room, adjacent to The Hearth is The Hideaway, a bar and lounge featuring local wine, beer and ciders.

One of the main focuses that they emphasize is the spiritual side and nourishing the soul. As such when booking your retreat, you speak with a knowledgeable Wellness Guide to create a tailored itinerary to meet the needs of your self-guided wellness journey. You are able to choose from a Personal Discovery Pathway to pursue an intention you are wanting to work on with tailored services from: Spa & Beauty, Fitness & Movement, Mind & Spirit as well as other independent offerings to help you plan your best experience. For example, one of their experiences offered is the‘Find Inner Calm Pathway’ experience, which is available for three or four days, designed to help guests deepen compassion for themselves by learning practices of self-care, reflection and spiritual growth.

Another focus at the retreat is functional fitness and as such, numerous classes are offered in the Training Zone gym including: strength, Pilates, yoga and fitness in the forest. They also cater to guests with a greater sense of adventure with daily hikes (ranging from X to Y miles), outdoor adventures like mountain biking and kayaking.
