Super Bowl Sunday, possibly the largest televised event in the United States will live up to its full potential because of a Nashville local. Jonathan Hammel will be building the stage for the half time show at the Super Bowl. If and when you tune in for the show remember who made the performance possible.
NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A Nashville man is getting ready to return to his native New Orleans to help set the stage for Super Bowl 47.
Jonathan Hammel makes things that most people take for granted.
"I think that's kind of the idea. People look at a show and they just kind of lost in the show and don't really think about what it took to get there," Hammel explained.
He built the music note and measure bar for this year's New Year's Eve celebration in downtown Nashville. One of his next creations you'll see Super Bowl weekend in New Orleans.
"This is the first job we've done in New Orleans, so it's pretty exciting," he said.
