Vivienne Westwood’s granddaughter Cora Corre has just been signed to Next Model Management. The 16-year-old—whose grandmother is one of fashion’s most eccentric designers and whose mother, Serena Rees, co-founded Agent Provocateur—has been dabbling in fashion for years, but it looks like her career is about to take off. Signing with the same company that represents models such as Alexa Chung, Jane Birkin and Suki Waterhouse, she is poised to be one of the next big names in fashion. Featured in a beauty spread for Love magazine, Corre rocks a full face of Marc Jacobs Beauty—a look that Love’s editor-in-chief Katie Grand, suggested the models try on their own. “I thought it would be fun to give Cora and her friends the make-up to apply themselves. Cora’s always loved make-up—ever since she stayed over at our house when she was about 11,” she told The Standard.
Corre’s Love editorial comes out in the same issue that Kendall Jenner (another celebrity offspring) poses topless on the cover. While we’re all for following in your parents footsteps, there’s been a huge onslaught of famous progenies in fashion lately, from Gigi Hadid and Patrick Schwarzenegger in Tom Ford to supermodel Georgia May Jagger. And we’re pretty sure even little Romeo Beckham has his own Burberry campaign at one point. While some seem more like a publicity stunt than a real passion for fashion, we’ll keep an eye on this one—besides will a background like hers style just runs in the family.
