A trip to Sydney is a trip to high style and luxury as reported by Claire Devine, a journalist working for the Flintshire Chronicle. Complete with a tour of the Harbour Bridge, a decadent meal at the well-known Kables restaurant and a stunning view of the beautiful city, Devine proves that Sydney is a perfect spot for a vacation, despite the chill.

CLAIRE DEVINE enjoys the best food, drink and activities of one of Australia’s most popular cities

WE arrived in to a drizzly Sydney after a whirlwind 48 hours in hot, sticky Singapore.

Although the relief from the heat was pleasant and it was winter in Australia this was not what I signed up for – there was plenty of rain and cloud back home in the UK.

Jetlagged and hungry we found our way into the city via train and headed for our first hotel, The Four Seasons on George Street.

Having not slept on the overnight eight-hour flight from Singapore I was flagging and desperate for a shower and lie down as we headed to our harbour view room on the 22nd floor.
