Dublin's Burlington Hotel will be the center of the festivities surrounding the Irish Winter Festival starting Friday October 26th. This year promises an explosive main event to out scale all those before it and festivities in previous years have featured novelty games like Blind Man's Bluff and Beer Pong.

The €1,125 buy-in Main Event always attracts some of the most familiar faces from the UK & Ireland circuits, with the likes of Marty Smyth, Eoghan O’Dea and Neil Channing just three of the names who would be considered regulars in this event.

Last year 395 players bought into the Irish Winter festival, creating a prize pool of almost €400,000, the lion’s share of which finding its way to John Keown (pictured) who walked away with a bankroll-boosting €100,000 for his efforts over the weekend.
