Dallas' first class Omni Dallas Hotel is celebrating its first year of operation this November 11th with special deals at the Texas Spice, an in-hotel restaurant, and the Owner's Box, a sports bar in honor of a year of extremely successful business.

The Omni Dallas Hotel, which opened its doors on 11/11/11, will celebrate its one year anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 11. The hotel has had a solid start, and October 2012 was the strongest month to date with the month’s occupancy rate topping 80 percent. In the 2012 calendar year, the hotel’s EBTIDA was a little more than $18 million, which is more than $3 million above the estimate.

Since its opening, the Omni Dallas Hotel received LEED Gold New Construction certification, making it one of the only LEED Gold hotels in Texas and the largest LEED Gold hotel in the U.S. outside of Las Vegas. The hotel also received an M&C Gold Key Award, and Smart Meetings Platinum Choice Award. In 2012, Omni Dallas’ restaurant Texas Spice was designated as a Two-Star Certified Green Restaurant® by the Green Restaurant Association and the property also received Lodging Hospitality Readers’ Choice for Top Design in 2012.
