Japanese Culture to Visit Venezuela

February 22nd marks the beginning of a unique experience for residents and visitors of Caracas and the arrival of an entire week of Japanese culture. Complete with a Japanese Film Festival and various artistic exhibitions in both the Museum of Fine Arts Foundation and the Center for Latin American Studies.

The Venezuelan capital will host the 2nd edition of the Japanese Culture Week-2013, starting today, with cultural activities including concerts, movies and craftworks, informed the organizers.

According to the Ministry of Culture, the official opening of the program will be marked with the concert of Hanna Kobayashi at the Concert Room of the Cultural Center BOD-Corp Banca.

 

Also as part of the calendar they will celebrate the Japanese Film Festival, which includes works related to the traditions of the country.

 

The festival will take place at the Museum of Fine Arts Foundation and the Center for Latin American Studies Rómulo Gallegos (Celarg).
