Watch Anna Wintour Perform Stand-Up to Celebrate Amy Schumer's First Vogue Cover

It may not seem like it, but Anna Wintour has a sense of humor. She’s actually pretty funny. Don’t believe me? In Vogue’s latest video, the editor-in-chief takes on the role of stand-up comedian, swapping careers (albeit momentarily) with the glossy’s latest cover girl Amy Schumer. In a short clip created to celebrate Schumer’s July 2016 issue, the two partner up and challenge each other to fulfill the other’s role. But Schumer quickly finds the position a little more difficult than expected. With latte in hand, she scans the racks at her first run through: “Is that a shirt?” she asks curiously from behind her dark, oversized shades. Wintour on the other hand, nails her comedy debut; it’s a little awkward, but pretty hilarious. “Wintour is coming,” she closes, before she drops the mic.

The digital short, which was written by Schumer, coincides with the announcement of her inaugural Vogue cover. For the magazine's cover story images, Wintour tapped famed photographer Annie Leibovitz—who previously partnered with Schumer on her Vanity Fair cover and Pirelli Calendar photoshoot—to snap the star in Central Park and her favorite NYC comedy clubs.
