From grape to bottle Rare Champagne celebrates 'art de vivre', showcasing artists and their extraordinary talent focused on a commitment to the preservation of nature, craftsmanship and heritage.
Located in Reims, France, Rare Champagne recently revealed 'Extra-Ordinary Metamorphosis,' their first-ever Digital Passport-enhanced cuvée. It's designed in collaboration with visual artist William Amor. This self-taught artist is the winner of the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris and the Fondation Banque Populaire. He is known for transforming discarded materials into ethereal floral sculptures.
“Beyond a gift set, this is an edition that allows us to celebrate the beauty of change through time and nature. This is the first time Rare Champagne has launched a project of this magnitude,” said Maud Rabin, Director of Rare Champagne. “The Extra-Ordinary Metamorphosis is simply incredible and we are honored to share it with collectors.”
It's a beautiful blended brut made of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir Dosage. The flavor profiles include cherry blossom, a hint of orange blossom, a wisp of jasmine and a lychee finish.

Each bottle’s adornment includes a hand-crafted “Rosa Peony,” inspired by Queen Marie-Antoinette’s favorite flower. It's made from repurposed plastic and the two vine leaves are crafted from recycled Rare Champagne capsule aluminum.
The pièce de résistance is the shimmering “crown jewel” ornament crafted from the Maison’s own crystallized tartar deposits.
This exclusive Digital Passport linked to the “Rosa Peony” flower, serves as both a digital certificate of authenticity and a time capsule. In 2032, after an 8-year waiting period, each Digital Passport holder will receive a Methuselah of Rare Rosé selected by the Cellar Master. The number 8 is central to the edition’s symbolism—representing infinity, transformation, and the passage of time. This motif guides every detail of the release, from the eight-year waiting period to the 88 editions available.

This limited-edition set is a collector’s tribute to time, nature, and transformation, enclosing a coveted bottle of Rare Millésime 2014. “Every element that went into the creation of this bottle was preserved and thoughtfully transformed,” said William Amor. “The gift set is a call for sustainable awareness, serving as a reminder to see the beauty in the unexpected and let nature’s generosity inspire a shift in perspective.”
Amor takes industry rejects in his Jardin extraordinaire, a workshop-laboratory in the Villa du Lavoir, nestled behind the Porte Saint Martin in Paris, where plastic bags and bottles, fishing nets and discarded cigarettes are turned into delicate petals, vibrant coral reefs and intricate botanical forms.
The Extra-Ordinary Metamorphosis gift set is priced at $1,500. This collectible is a fusion of fine rare wine, art, and blockchain technology. It is available for purchase at Noble Merchants and select retailers worldwide.
