Innovative Italian shipyard Arcadia Yachts are known for their eco-friendly designs and their Arcadia 85 is no different. Soon to enjoy its US debut at the 2015 Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show, the nearly 85-foot long vessel looks like a super cool combination of a luxury yacht and a James Bond-like hideaway.

Because of the hull's shape, the yacht doesn't need as much power as others in its size bracket. What power it does need is brought by its twin MAN diesel R6-730hp engines and solar panels (which gives the Arcadia 85 its imposing look). The deckhouse features double-layered reflective glass that gives the interior a feeling of openness, while panels over-head can slide open to bring in even more light. Though it doesn't have a sundeck, the company promises that the boat still has all of the amenities you expect on the aft, where there is room to sunbath and host a dinner party.

Four guest cabins are on the lower deck: the owner's cabin, VIP quarters, and two twin cabins. The bow of the vessel features enough space for a four-person crew, which can be reached through the wheel-house.

The eco-conscious Arcadia 85 has a range of over 500 nautical miles, a maximum speed of 18.5 knots, and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots. Though prices have yet to be released, we will be keeping an eye out for more information following the Miami Yacht Show.
