Three six-story towers containing 35 residences will be built around the Albany Marina in the Bahamas. The real estate project, the Marina Residences of Albany, will be completed by 2014. The Tavistock Group and professional golfers Tiger Woods and Ernie Els are the owners of the elaborate, soon-to-be mixed-use luxury resort.

The residences at the marina will be part of a community that will include a full-service marina with 71 slips that is capable of accommodating yachts from 50 to 200 feet in length. The floor plans of the dwellings range from two to six bedrooms, and the penthouse units will feature private swimming pools and theater rooms.
With more than two-thirds of the condos already sold through a pre-construction sales program, the government of the Bahamas is confident that the raising of the Marina Residences at Albany will increase the appeal of the Bahamas worldwide.

"This important second phase of construction at Albany is a terrific vote of confidence for the Commonwealth of The Bahamas," said Bahamas Prime Minister Perry Christie. "The sales success that Albany has experienced is also a resilient validation of The Bahamas and its international appeal."
Albany sits on 600 acres of oceanfront property and is located on the southwestern end of New Providence. The resort area will feature a variety of residential offerings in a setting that includes a boutique hotel, an Ernie Els-designed golf course, a fitness center, a spa, and an adult pool. There will also be a family water park, a kids' clubhouse and various types of restaurants.
