The Snow Lodge, featuring a new supper club and after-dinner lounge, has opened inside the St. Regis Aspen Resort. The venue features seasonal cuisine and innovative cocktails.
Guests looking to escape the chilly winter weather can warm up in the new lush setting with deep velvets and local art from Aspen galleries. The space also houses two artist-in-residence locations and is featuring works from artist and musician Brandon Boyd and photographer Brian Bowen Smith. Upcoming featured artists include Richard Phillips, Zoe Buckman, Tonia Caldero, Anthony James and Brandon Ralph.
The Snow Lodge’s cocktail lounge will be home to a curated music series with DJ sets and unplugged acoustic concerts. Guests can expect intimate performances from a roster of up-and-coming and established acts; the lineup so far includes singer-songwriter Léon and Jake Wesley Rogers with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks. In past years, The Snow Lodge has featured performances from Sofi Tukker, Arizona, BLOND:ISH, Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Noah Cyrus, DJ Diesel, and more.
Chef Mark Connell, formerly of Casa d’Angelo, is spearheading the menu which includes large plates and sharable dishes highlighting contemporary and classical Italian cuisine. Small plates include options such as the Ahi Tuna Tartare with lemon and calabrian chili and imported buratta with tomato olive battuta, basil and grilled bread. All pastas are made in house featuring Chef Connell’s signature “seamless” ravioli with butternut squash, mascarpone and thyme, and tonnarelli al tartufo (chitarra pasta with truffle). Mains include pan roasted branzino with pepita basil pesto and crab and the red wine-braised short rib. Creative desserts include a chocolate globe, meyer lemon chiboust and tiramisu.
The restaurant is open six days a week with limited dinner reservations beginning at 5pm, now available on Resy. Lounge reservations can be made at tables@thesnowlodge.com.
