Windstar Cruises’ advanced bookings for 2013 sailings are up 60 percent compared to the same time last year. The company announced that it is on course for a fourth consecutive year of increased revenue. “We have an outstanding product today. We truly deliver a unique luxury cruise experience that feels like your own private yacht while immersing you in the destination,” said Hans Birkhoz, CEO of Windstar Cruises. “With most of the cruise industry focusing on bigger ships, Windstar is investing in small-ship features and intimate yacht-style cruising."

Windstar invested $18 million in a fleet-wide renovation project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of this year. The 12-month project is expected to enhance the guest experience. The upgrade of the Wind Star ship was done last April. The Wind Surf and the Wind Spirit ships will be completed in December.
