You know that warm weather has finally arrived when The Terrace at Trump opens up. The Chicago hotel has officially opened its outdoor dining venue, giving guests and locals alike the chance to enjoy the best views of Chicago's numerous landmarks while dining al fresco. The stunning venue features a custom-designed lounge and seating areas as well as an eclectic selection of music to enhance the surroundings. The summer menu was designed by Executive Chef Michael Fiddler as a way for guests to savor the best offerings of summer, including seafood towers and other sumptuous items to be shared or enjoyed individually.

Want to get outside and explore the winter wonderland just outside your hotel's doors? Is the thought of cold, wet feet and sinking into the snow holding you back? Luckily there's a hotel that has thought of that, offering guests snow shoes as a complimentary amenity. Guests at the Radisson Aqua Blu hotel in Chicago can now get snow shoes at the concierge desk. Similar to bike rentals, they are free of charge and there's no limit to the length of the rental time, so you can explore the city for as long as you want.

The Hyatt Regency Chicago’s is the windy city’s largest hotel, and has recently undergone a $168 million renovation. Hyatt will be unveiling the makeover this spring. From a chic new lobby, re-vamped guestrooms, meeting spaces and an array of exciting new and re-concepted dining experiences, the hotel will officially complete the process in April 2013. Under the careful guidance of renowned architects and planners at Bentel & Bentel, the three-phase project broke ground in 2010."We truly listened to our guests, and in turn, several aspects of this renovation were incorporated as a direct result of guest feedback,” says Patrick Donnelly, General Manager. “We are excited to provide our guests an even better experience through innovative, top-of-the line guest room accommodations featuring the latest in design and technology." The property is thrilled to introduce visitors and Chicagoans to their new look.
