The Mosaic Hotel will re-open its doors just in time for fall getaways, an ideal season for California travel and staycations. On August 1, the 49-room luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills will unveil its extensive multi-million dollar renovation, with traditional doormen sporting Bowler hats welcoming guests.
The revamped lobby will include modern furnishings, Hockney-inspired artwork and communal seating, showcasing the hotel’s European sensibility with a contemporary American twist. The refreshed pool area will offer sleek furniture, cozy fire-pit cabanas and a new menu concept presenting fine spirits and tapas-style fare.
The hotel’s interior design celebrates California style under the direction of London-based design firm, Luxio. The project’s completion represents the firm’s first foray into the Los Angeles market. Luxio joins Gemstone’s elite portfolio of designers, including Kelly Wearstler’s nearby Maison 140. Mosaic’s redesign extends to the guestrooms, featuring distinctive mid-century modern furniture, luxurious linens and upbeat wall art. Bulgari bath products and rainfall showerheads complete the bathroom amenities at this new intimate enclave. Mosaic Hotel is currently taking reservations.
