If you're looking for a Manhattan hotel that combines fitness and luxury in an ideal location, look no further than the EVEN Hotel New York - Times Square South.
Located within easy walking distance of the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden and Hudson Yards, I think this area is the perfect home base in Manhattan. Just one block from Penn Station, you can get anywhere in the city from here. I was in town for an event at the Javits Center, which was also an easy walk.

I travel to New York City a couple of times a year, and my room at the EVEN was the largest I've ever had in Manhattan without having to pay for a suite. Part of the reason for that is the in-room fitness options, which they've given you ample floor space to engage with.
If you're looking to keep up your fitness routine while you travel, EVEN is a great choice that doesn't even require you to leave your room. Our room was outfitted with a functional trainer, which had adjustable cables and pulleys for a wide range of exercises. There was even a channel on the television with a trainer walking you through exercises on the in-room equipment. Additional options included a foam roller, yoga mat, yoga block, and core exercise ball.
When I travel alone as a woman, I'm not always keen on the idea of going to a deserted hotel fitness center late at night, so the in-room option here was appreciated.

If you do want other equipment, however, there's a state-of-the-art fitness center in the hotel with Peloton® Bikes and a variety of cardio and strength training equipment.
The hotel also features the EVEN Kitchen & Bar, which has a great menu of fresh food aimed at those who are conscious about what they eat. For breakfast, try dishes like the vegetable omelet or egg white brioche. Later in the day, there's a great mix of fresh salads and small plates like roasted chicken wings or oven-baked shrimp.
Traveling with your furry friend? The EVEN Hotel New York – Times Square South is pet friendly, too!
Overall, there was a lot to love about this hotel. From spacious rooms with in-room fitness options to a great on-site restaurant and an unbeatable location, the EVEN Hotel New York – Times Square South is definitely on my list of Manhattan hotels I'll visit again when I'm in New York for business or pleasure.
