Best known for their sophisticated coastal aesthetic, California home and lifestyle brand Serena & Lily open doors to their new West Coast location at One Paseo today. Completing the mixed-use development's retail lineup the nearly 6,000-square-foot Del Mar Design Shop is their largest in California and 14th store nationwide. According to Lori Greeley, chief executive officer for Serena & Lily, North County’s coastline, mountains, and proximity to the city, made the new location at One Paseo a natural fit for the brand.
“Even as we’re able to do more digitally and virtually, we’re very excited to have found a home in Del Mar and are thrilled to offer the hands-on experience that our design shops provide to professional designers and interiors-lovers alike,” she says adding that now, as much as ever, a home should not only feel beautiful and comfortable, but highly personal.

With its prime corner location, the store is divided into several room displays that show off the brand’s pared-down coastal aesthetic and luxury home furnishings – from a dreamy Avalon Daybed to its best-selling Norfolk Sectional, both of which look perfectly inviting for an afternoon nap. New arrival collection highlights include a wicker side table with scalloped edges, the hand-stitched and yarn-dyed Danbury linen bedding, and handwoven Kent Lanterns. Capiz shell chandeliers, plus a plethora of hand-knotted textiles from cushions to rugs, also feature. Serena & Lily’s growing outdoor furniture and décor lines are showcased, too, including the new Pacifica Collection, which has given classic wicker a modern update in outdoor-friendly woven resin and spans stylish loungers, day beds and chairs.
In addition to lighting, accent décor, and coffee table-worthy design books, the shop is also home to a gorgeous gallery wall. Created alongside San Francisco-based gallery Lost Art Salon, the rotating collection of framed original works from the company’s Art Collection are also available to purchase. In a nod to SoCal surf culture, other items exclusive to the location include two custom-designed surfboards by artist Kate Sondag.

Thanks to their complimentary design service, anyone looking to recreate that Bahamian beach house or Cape Cod cottage of their dreams can schedule a time to work one-on-one with Serena & Lily’s expert in-house advisors. From styling tips to entire makeovers, advisors can pull from an extensive swatch wall that features over 300 original Serena & Lily textile designs in addition to rug, wallpaper, bed and chair frame material samples, when putting a mood board or room plan together for guests.
Also serving as a creative workspace for interior designers, the multi-seat station is open for private appointments, client meetings and presentations during and outside of regular business hours.
Located in Suite 0260, Serena & Lily is open by appointment only. Call 858.923.1393 or schedule a virtual or in-store visit online.
