Since 1977 Science Centre Singapore has been on a mission to inspire and encourage learning in the fields of science and technology, welcoming nearly 30 million students and visitors since its opening. The 14 galleries contain more than 1,000 individual exhibits covering topics like climate change, bioethics, and the solar system, along with traveling exhibitions temporarily on display from other international museums. Outside is an additional 215,000 square feet of outdoor galleries - Waterworks, Kinetic Garden, and Ecogarden - and made available free of charge to the public are events like stargazing, the Singapore Science Festival, and the Science Street Fair.
