Best Restaurants: Nashville, Tennessee is more than just Music City. Nestled amongst honky-tonks and barbeque joints are some true culinary gems.

Margot Café & Bar
Margot Café & Bar offers country French and Italian cuisine in comfortable surroundings in the heart of East Nashville.

Capitol Grille in the Hermitage Hotel
The Capitol Grille is a celebrated and award-winning venue. Superbly appointed in an understated style of traditional elegance, the hotel's restaurant has hosted some of America's most noted individuals while serving as a gathering place for Nashvillians. Using the freshest regional ingredients, Executive Chef Tyler Brown prepares a memorable celebration of creative southern cuisine for every occasion with an emphasis on certified Tennessee Black Angus Beef and game, market fresh seafood, and the freshest and best available local products.

City House
Local and sustainable foods make frequent appearances on the favorite Nashville menu that has a modern Italian flair. City House also boasts an impressive wine list with some offerings by the glass.

Sunset Grill
Executive Chef Brian Uhl specializes in wild game dishes in the framework of contemporary cuisine. Uhl trained as an apprentice to Sigi Eisenberg, and has also worked under many other noted chefs, including Thomas Keller of the French Laundry, Jean-Louis Palladin in New York, and Boris Keller, a Michelin-star chef of Germany. Since settling in Nashville, he has been associated with Wild Boar and F. Scott's and with the Opryland and Stouffer Hotels.

Eastland Café
Eastland Cafe is a vibrant neighborhood restaurant that is both comfortable and casually elegant. The open dining room has an inclusive, inviting feel, with dark mahogany wood panels and generous, warmly lit tables. Good, honest food at a good, honest price. Foods built from classic foundations, but still inventive. Chef Hal M. Holden-Bache says: "I like the word 'simple' and the word 'spectacular. Don't confuse the food. Use straightforward, proper cooking techniques, and always make sure the guests know what they are looking at." The menu is approachable and solid, featuring daily specials and seasonal offerings.
