Dior Homme Releases Hightop Sneakers in its 2012 Fall/Winter Collection

Whoever said the devil is in the details clearly never slipped their foot into the heavenly new line of hightops from Dior Homme. These kicks hit the streets in two colorways— beige linen or solid white— and are sure to have bouncers ignoring the ‘no sneakers’ rule at venues around the world. The Dior hightops allow you to channel your inner rocker when paired with some skinny jeans, or lace them halfway up and pop your tongue outside some tailored denim for a laid-back vibe reminiscent of your childhood.

The finer points of the beige linen colorway truly let them stand out yet fit in to the classiest clubs in any city. The upper black-on-pale horsehair toile wraps the ankle in style, while the side paneling is a tastefully unique beige linen that is rarely, if ever, seen on footwear. The toe and tongue are a beige horsehair, allowing the sneakers to be matched with practically anything and the whole piece is trimmed in a pristine white calfskin with many of the seams featuring an embroidered wrap.

The calfskin white colorway pictured below is layered with the clean lines that have come to be expected from Dior Homme, but in a hightop. All of the stitching is pure white as well, and it shows off the same embroidery-wrapped seams as the beige edition.

Knowing that rockers and celebrities like Brad Pitt, David Beckham, and Kanye West are such big fans of Dior, it’s not hard to imagine these tailored head-turners popping up on stages and red carpets in the near future. Look for them as part of Dior Homme’s Fall/Winter 2012 Collection.
