Reinventing the Scarf

Have a closet-full of scarves you don't know what to do with? With this simple DIY, each colorful silk square can be a new top — perfect for under suits or for a dressy night out.

The trick is to find a great statement necklace to show off the top. Simply fold your scarf into a triangle and then tie the two sides that make up the tip around a necklace (or around your neck). Tie the remaining two ends around your waist. That's it!

For your fall wardrobe, pick richly colored scarves and pair with neutrals such as camel and grey.

Necklace: Jasmine Pennamma ‘Tyler’ Collar
