The Hollywood Hills and city skyline views are fabulous from The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills rooftop pool and dining deck. Starting at 5:30 pm, hotel guests and locals are enjoying LA's newest seasonal al fresco dining experience. Led by Executive Chef Anthony Keene at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, this is a collaboration with Grammy award-winning singer and musician John Legend and his supermodel wife and entrepreneur Chrissy Teigen. It's the second annual summer dining experience up at the hotel's exquisite rooftop.
Diners have the option to order from a three-course menu or Chef Keene's new a la carte menu. On the a la carte menu there are shareable caviar plates such as Ceviche & Caviar with wild bass, citrus, aji amarillo and creme fraiche; Truffle French Fries and Caviar; Smoke Trout Dip and Chips; and Tuna Tacos with Nori and Caviar.

For the second year, Executive Chef Anthony Keene created a three-course prix-fixe menu with dishes inspired by ‘John’s Favorite Things’ from wife Chrissy Teigen’s cookbook Cravings. Each course is paired with a curated wine list of LVE and JC Boisset Collection favorites.
“Following the success of last year, we are delighted to reintroduce this one-of-a-kind dining experience for both our guests and the local community,” said Anthony Keene, Executive Chef of The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills. “It’s an honor to collaborate again with acclaimed musician, television host, EGOT winner, and fellow Angeleno John Legend, along with his exceptional LVE wines from Napa Valley and France.”

Diners receive delicious grilled sourdough bread with butter and olive oil. On the special 'Legend and LVE at The London Rooftop' menu, starter options include Shrimp Summer Roll filled with avocado, fresh mint, red leaf, cucumber and topped with peanut salsa matcha. Chef Anthony is a master at sauces and presentation.
John Legend searched for the right wine collaborator for LVE (Legend Vineyard Exclusive by John Legend), and discovered winemaker JC Boisset aligns with his standards of excellence. With roots deep in the Napa Valley and France and award-winning Boisset Collection wines are known for their beautiful balance, finesse, and elegance in every bottle.

The pretty pink color of the effervescent LVE Rosé French Sparkling is reminiscent of a vineyard peach. The grapes were selected from a blend of grapes from well-known growing regions of France, which include Loire and Languedoc to create its unique and fruity style. The wine was elaborated in the Charmat Method and aged for 3 months to create small, delicate bubbles that pairs well with appetizers, entrees and desserts.
The Varietal Blend 10% Pinot Noir, 10% Grenache, 80% White Varietal Blend using Ugni Blanc, Colombard and Chardonnay grapes. It's aged for three months to offer a fruity nose, with soft pleasant bubbles. Each sip offers hints of red currants and citrus, complemented by a nice acidity on the finish.

Also on the three-course starter menu is seared scallops on top of white beans, snap peas, sauteed kale and porcini mushrooms. Both paired well with LVE Chardonnay Carneros. It's an opulent white wine, layered and balanced that showcases enticing aromas of pear, gardenia, and melon. It lingers on the palate with flavors of vanilla and brioche, plus a touch of allspice and lemon zest for a vibrant finish.
The wine is a collaborative blend of four vineyards (three in Carneros and one in Napa). Some are located on the cooler and windy southwestern side growing in clay soil. Other vineyards are located in a warmer and hilly area in sandy soils. The mix of locations brings acidity, freshness, and richness to the palate as a well-balanced Chardonnay.
This wine was 100% barrel fermented in a mix of Francois Frere and Orion oak barrels – 24% new – for 10 months before bottling. The wine went through 100% malolactic fermentation with a mix of native and inoculated ferments.

Main entrees include Sweet Chili and Mustard-Glazed Salmon on a bed of Bloomsdale spinach; Brick Spring Chicken with charred lemon and garlic broccoli rabe; and Beef Wellington that is served for two. It's accompanied with John Legend's Mac & Cheese Gratinee. The main dishes are paired with LVE Cabernet Sauvignon.
Throughout the meal John Legend songs play in the background to enhance this multi-sensory culinary experience.

Desserts are curated by The London West Hollywood’s Pastry Chef Nidia De Los Santos. There are two special desserts on the three-course menu, a lovely Berry Pavlova can be paired and old school vanilla cake with chocolate frosting and vanilla ice-cream. Both pair well with LVE French Sparkling Rose'.
Pricing for this immersive multi-course menu is $85 per person. Add $35 extra for wine pairings with each course.

Other desserts on the a la carte menu include a Basque-style blueberry cheesecake with blueberry ice cream and a strawberry Napoleon with strawberry ice cream.
John Legend music fans will enjoy this summer Legend and LVE at The London Rooftop al fresco culinary experience starting at 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations can also be made on OpenTable.
