Ride an elevator up to the new Osa Rooftop at the AC Hotel Pasadena, the newest hotel to open in Pasadena, California. Hotel guests can take an elevator inside the hotel, while the public can enter off the iconic Colorado Blvd., also known as Route 66.
This dramatic rooftop restaurant and bar provides stunning panoramic city and mountain views, as diners enjoy an al fresco dining experience among an appealing nature-driven design.
Osa is the latest concept from Boulevard Hospitality Group, offering a fresh and exciting culinary destination using local ingredients and creative techniques.
Head Chef Carlos Couts, formerly of Sushi by Scratch and Rokusho, brings a global, ingredient-focused approach to hotel dining with standout dishes like salmon crudo and a Wagyu smashburger.

Diners enjoy front-row views of the majestic San Gabriel Mountains, while experiencing specialty items such as Baja-inspired crudos, produce-forward mezze plates, French-style bar snacks, handmade pastas, organic chicken, and Snake River Farms steak frites. Every item crafted offers vibrant flavors that pair well with curated wines for a refined rooftop dining experience.
The beverage program created by Pete St. Peter (Capri Club), features local spirits, seasonal cocktails, and a curated wine list, along with a daily happy hour. Signature cocktails include the Cactus Cooler (mezcal, nopales, lime, amaro, aloe), the Triple Cali Spritz (three California aperitifs with soda), and Drop the Beet (tequila, beet juice, raspberry, lime).

Design details by Suplex Design and Build Agency offer a Baja-style ambiance with influences by the world-famous Mexican architect Luis Barragán. Native plants, clay pots, and reclaimed wood are featured throughout the inviting space. The open-air layout is anchored by a thriving living olive tree and a cozy flickering fireplace lounge area.
Furnishings throughout Osa were crafted from reclaimed wood by local artisans, and floral installations feature California buckwheat and other native plants.
This location has become a favorite for pre-theatre diners and after show patrons seeking a nightcap, as Osa is located one block away from the Pasadena Playhouse.
Osa is open daily for dinner from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Weekend brunch will open soon this summer.
