Gooding & Company Realizes Over $106M & Sets 16 New Records at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance Auction

Gooding & Company saw some pretty big profits last weekend at their two-day Pebble Beach luxury auto auction where they realized over $106 million. The official auction house of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance apparently sold 107 of their 121 lots, with the average price per car being $990,699 (they even sold 30 cars for over one million), and an overall 88 percent sale rate. To make the auction even more impressive, 16 new records were set for Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Porsche.

Prestigious Maserati Centennial Polo Tour Will Travel to China, UK & UAE

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, legendary Italian marque Maserati is bringing high-profile polo tournaments to centers of wealth and equestrian excellence around the world. Following the success of the recent Maserati U.S. Open Polo Championship in Palm Beach, the brand will present the Maserati Metropolitan Polo Classic at the Tianjin Goldin Metropolitan Polo Club in China and the Jerudong Park Polo Trophy at the Cirencester Park Polo Club in the United Kingdom in June, as well as an as yet unnamed tournament in Dubai this fall. Maserati is partnering with Argentinian polo lifestyle brand La Martina, which produces a capsule collection of Maserati branded polo gear, on the prestigious series.

Maserati GranTurisimo Convertible Sells Out in U.S.

Luxury Car News: If you are able to afford a Maserati GranTurismo, why not buy it? Apparently, that is exactly what those capable of doing so in the U.S. have already done. According to a report filed this week by Bloomberg, Maserati said that the new GranTurismo Convertible model is sold out in the U.S. and that waiting lists are being formed. There was no news conveyed on how long the waiting period would be until the new cars arrive stateside.... Read More
