Pastrovich Design Unveils X R-Evolution Yacht Concept That Imitates a Floating Resort

Earlier this month Pastrovich Design announced their upcoming project, the X R-Evolution Concept, and this one is a doozy. Not just a single vessel, this yacht sections out into several different pods to create a floating resort of sorts. According to Motor Boat & Yachting, the company based the X R-Evolution design on "real-world technologies and that clients have already registered their interest" in making it a reality.

If you've ever wanted a superyacht that could double as the north star, this design by Lobanov Design and BMT Nigel Gee is it. Aptly named Star, the project started as a doodle on a napkin, a challenge to create a yacht that brings together modern architecture, and product and car design. Monaco Yacht Show Gears Up to Ply Yacht Owners With Champagne & Massages

The Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) is coming up quick and there is a lot in store for attendees. Starting on September 24 and running through to September 27, the 24-year-old event is expecting 500 exhibitors and 115 superyachts in the water (including 40 new builds), ranging in size from 24 (the Gigreca) to 91.5 meters (the Equanimity). The luxury yachting event certainly has a lot in store for casual guests, but they're focusing especially on yacht owners, captains, crews, and clients this year, striving to make sure everyone is happy and well taken care of.

The Arya Concept Yacht Stresses the Importance of Aerodynamics

Largest Yacht Ever Built in China is Officially Off the Market

Earlier in the month Pride Mega Yachts announced the sale of their massive vessel, Illusion, which is almost 300 feet long. While the company didn't make any mention of who bought it and for how much, the delivery date is for 2015 and they affirmed that Illusion is the "largest yacht ever built in China," so the price tag was probably pretty steep.
