About Sean Hillen

During an international media career spanning several decades in Europe and the US, Sean Hillen has worked for many leading publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Times London, The Daily Telegraph, Time magazine and The Irish Times Dublin, as well as at the United Nations Media Center in New York. Sean's travel writing for and has taken him across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, from Ireland to Romania, India to Tunisia and Thailand to New Zealand and the United States, from where he has penned hundreds of articles on luxury hotels, gourmet restaurants, entertainment venues and upscale tourism attractions. Author of several books, including a travel memoir entitled 'Digging for Dracula' about his experiences as a foreign correspondent in eastern Europe and novel, 'Pretty Ugly,' focusing on the cosmetics industry, Sean is also co-founder of an international creative writing retreat, and lead judge of the 'Wild Atlantic Writing Awards.'
