The UK's Advertising Standards Authority has begun to crack down hard on beauty ads, including those featuring Dakota Fanning, Hailee Steinfeld, Julia Roberts and Christy Turlington. Now they're coming after Rachel Weisz's new L'Oréal ad for Revitalift Clinical Repair. Just like Julia and Christy's Lancôme ads, Rachel's was said to be too retouched and misleading in terms of what consumers would believe the product's results would be, according to E! Online. L'Oréal fought back and admitted to touching up the photos, as they do all of their ads, but say that their intention was to make Rachel look "as favorably as possible" and simply used the makeup and lighting necessary to do so.
