Kate Hudson to Design Capsule Collection for Ann Taylor

Classy and chic with quirky tendencies that make both men and women fall in love? It is truly no wonder that Ann Taylor is making fashion news by re-signing blonde beauty Kate Hudson as the face of its retail chain. This time, Kate will also be broadening her role within the company and trying her hand as guest fashion designer on a capsule collection for the summer. Alongside Ann Taylor's creative director, Lisa Axelson, Hudson helped to design looks inspired by red-hot red carpet fashion but reinterpreted them for day-to-day occasions.

First appearing in Ann Taylor’s Spring 2012 campaign, Kate gushes about the retailer, saying, “Working with Ann Taylor has been a great creative experience, and there is a really wonderful connection.”

This capsule collection will be the actress’s first venture into designing, with the new spring campaign set to break in early February. Items will be available for purchase in Ann Taylor stores in May.
