Sam Nazarian’s sbe has opened Casa Dani by three Michelin-starred Chef Dani Garcia and the newly reimagined Katsuya Century City by Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi, at Westfield Century City.
Katsuya Century City shares the former Rock Sugar 17,000-square-foot space with the adjoining Casa Dani by Chef Dani Garcia.

Designed by David Rockwell and the Rockwell Group, Katsuya embodies a minimalist, modern Japanese aesthetic with a high wood ceiling, moody grey lantern lighting, black tables and chairs and a jungle like open-air patio overlooking Santa Monica Boulevard.
Additionally, the venue boasts a dramatic central circular bar, an open-air garden, multiple bar areas (including a Katsuya Beer Garden), a sushi bar and sweeping views of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
The menu includes Katsuya classics like Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, Baked Crab Handrolls, Miso Cod, and Rock Shrimp Tempura, and introduces new additions such as Toro Tartare, King Crab Motoyaki, and A5 Wagyu Tataki. There’s also plenty of sushi, sashimi, hot appetizers and large main dishes to choose from.

For sushi lovers on a budget, their Power Lunch Prix Fixe, priced at $32–$45, is perfect, giving diners a curated selection including Chirashi, Short Rib Fried Rice, and combo plates tailored for busy professionals.
Katuya Century City offers an environment ideal for dates on the romantic patio, power lunches inside or catching up with friends over curated cocktails and stylish sushi.

Casa Dani, meaning “Dani’s House,” invites guests into Chef Dani Garcia’s world of modern Mediterranean cuisine, rooted in Andalusian traditions and celebrated globally with three Michelin stars. As one of Spain’s most celebrated chefs, Garcia’s vibrant, innovative approach offers a journey that begins in the south of Spain and continues across the Mediterranean. Garcia plays with worldly flavors and cuisines, textures, and The menu features an array of colorful paella options including the Farmers Market Vegetable Paella, Chicken Paella (roasted Cornish hen), and the Seafood Paella (saffron, prawns and mussels), in addition to Mediterranean classics that include Iberica Ham Croquetas, Fried Calamari, Octopus Carpaccio, and Steak Tartare. Chef Garcia also showcases his Andulian tuna plates such as the Tuna Porterhouse Carpaccio and the Duo Tartare Akami and O’toro, specialty pastas such as Trofie el Pesto (pistachio pecorino), La Fiesta Mediterranea (pacheri, scallops, lobster, blue prawns), and with standout mains, Heirloom Chicken in Adobo, Grilled Sea Bass and Wagyu Flatiron Steak.

A special $39 prix fixe menu offers up a 3-course selection of crowd favorites from starters to mains to dessert including a Wagyu burger, chorizo and aji empanadas, and roasted pineapple dessert.
Katsuya and Casa Dani are open from 11:30am to 3pm and 4:30pm to 10pm, located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd inside the Westfield Century City Mall.
