'Tis the season for shopping till you drop, so The Warwick Hotels in New York City, Denver, Dallas, San Francisco and Seattle, have extended the holiday season and partnered with their local Macy’s to offer guests 10 percent off all in-store purchases during their stay through March 31, 2013.“Guest’s keycards will contain a barcode for a Macy’s coupon, valid only in the stores in the hotel’s city. As this partnership is not nationwide, guests are encouraged to leave keycards behind after their stay for business associates, family and friends in that city,” said G. View Dynamic Glass will be introduced into its lobby and lounge areas, eliminating the need for shades, blinds, or other obstructive window treatments while maintaining the W's aesthetic. InterContinental Miami has teamed up with tennis star Venus Williams’ design firm, V Starr to create two new 3,300 square-feet, two-level presidential suites, Royal Palm and Metropolis. The Royal Palm Suite’s name is a nod to one of the first hotels in the area, The Royal Palm Hotel, which was built by well-known railroad magnate Henry Flagler. It also featured the city's first electric lights, elevators and swimming pool. The color pallet of the room, the white screen and texture of the walls and materials all extend from the name. Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach has added more than 250,000 cubic yards of sand to the 750 feet of beach bordering the resort. As part of the Miami-Dade County Shore Protection Project to bring back Miami's beautiful beachfront, which has been ravaged by damaging hurricanes that left the local shoreline depleted, the project is now complete. Resorts World Casino New York City celebrated its one year anniversary today by announcing it is the single largest slot revenue gaming property in the United States and its contribution to State Education Fund has surpassed the casino taxes paid by casinos in the Las Vegas Strip, Pennsylvania, Atlantic City, and Connecticut.
