The 22nd Annual Celebration of the Arts at Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua is a cultural event not to be missed on Maui. Having taken place from May 9-11, it is a feast for the senses, bringing a deeper cultural understanding of Hawaiian heritage mixed with a unique spirit of aloha. From the alluring scents of the luau buffet to performances by hula dancers and vocalists, Polynesian arts and crafts as well as activities such as net casting, Celebration of the Arts has been a part of the Ritz-Carlton’s fabric since its opening.

A sunrise chant ceremony and drinking of the waters of Kane started off the festivities, while the opening ceremonies included families announcing their histories and seeking permission into the celebration. General Manager Alex Ahluwalia welcomes cultural ambassadors and guests alike to participate with the property in this spectacular array of culture, companionship, and celebration.
