A Gemstone Bathtub Le Grand Queen : All yours for $1.74 million

A Gemstone Bathtub Le Grand Queen

Needless to say its the first of its kind and even takes on the $1.5 million crystal bathtub that Tamara Ecclestone recently had installed in her bathroom. Needless to say, Swarovski bathtubs don't even come close to this Gemstone bathtub. The tub was revealed at the 16th International Jewellery week that was hosted in Dubai, UAE and was sold for  AED 6.4 million ($1.74 million).

The tub is made from the Caijou gemstones and is supposed to be crafted out of one of the strongest healing stones in the world. Apparently, Chinese, Arab and Egyptian civilizations knew of this stone’s beauty and its healing ability, having stored over 100 million years of energy from the earth and universe.

The Le Grand Queen (the name of the bathtub) was the highlight of the exhibition where 25 countries competed for awards. The Caijou group also issued a statement saying that this was theur first ever sale worldwide and they were thrilled with the response.
